Be
informed of upcoming concerts, schedule changes, the dreaded but inevitable
cancellations and postponments and other music-related news. That's all
you will receive - the Cobscook Bay Music list will be a newsletter - no
worries about receiving a barrage of "discussion" on jazz versus
rock or who's the best/worst in any category. As I am "frugal,"
I am using the free version of Topica, but I have been using it for around
10 years for over 1,700 subscribers for another list and have never received
a complaint about the one or two advertisements that are sometimes included
to pay for the service.
I will still announce things via Facebook etc. but in my opinion, the focused list is much better for ensuring that only people who are really interested in the topic receive notifications. I hope you agree and will sign up. Oh - and it's self-service. *Only you* can subscribe or unsubscribe or change your email address. I will include the instructiosn with every news but hope you are not inclined to use the "unsubscribe" part any time soon! |
